Comeback Kid have just posted the first song from their forthcoming LP Symptoms + Cures, which hits streets Aug 31 via Victory Records and Distort. “Do Yourself A Favor” can be streamed from the band’s Myspace page. Comback Kid have also announced a long list Euro shows to proceed their Canadian Through The Noise Tour run with Madball and A Wilhelm Scream that runs through September.
Comeback Kid were originally formed in 2002 by Andrew Neufeld and Jeremy Hiebert of Figure Four as the band quickly became an underground phenomenon within the American Hardcore Punk Scene. Their original popularity was mainly supported by word-of-mouth that was reinforced by almost constant national and international touring for the next several years. In 2007 with the release of the band’s third full-length alum Broadcasting.., Andrew Neufeld dropped the guitar to take up the lead vocal and front-man roles for the band.
With “Do Yourself A Favor,” Neufeld hits an intense new vocal stride in this well-orchestrated and frenetic offering that sees Comeback Kid in top form through and through.
